Looking for a new playground to try out? Here is a very short list of some amazing playgrounds in the area
:
- Chessie’s Big Backyard at Lee District, Alexandria- Built for the community by the Fairfax County Park Foundation, this playground offers three different play areas for three different age groups. There is also a carousel and a family picnic area.
- Clemyjontri Playground, McLean- A wonderful and large playground with swings, climbing structures, some shaded area and benches around the playground.
- Burke Lake Park, Burke- Trails, a playground, train ride, carousel, treats, biking, fishing, camping, boating, mini golf, disc golf and so much more all are available at Burke Lake Park. Please note that some of the activities may have a fee associated with it.
- Hidden Pond Nature Center Playground, Springfield- Nature themed playground with swings and climbing structures
- Meadowland Park, Vienna- Residential area park, gated for additional safety, swings, climbing structures, sand box with toys, and other toys for kids of various age groups.
