As summer starts, I looked into joining our community pool. The price was more than I wanted to spend for 3 months, knowing we wouldn’t go every day.
Have you been to the Cub Run ReCenter? It is part of the Fairfax County Parks & Rec and it has all of the amenities you would find at a recreation center: full fitness gym, fitness group classes,swimming pool, summer camps, an outdoor playground, and (what makes this particular center extra cool) an indoor water park! I was able to purchase a 6 month membership with a recent sale for less than the cost of the 3 month membership at my community pool. I can take advantage of the other activities the center offers, and we can go swimming even if it’s raining!
Starting June 7, you don’t need a reservation to go swimming! They are still having a sale this month, so check them out and save some money! Even if you don’t get a membership, the cost for attending is on a day to day basis is pretty affordable. Check out their fees here.
